  Unable to locate your mail server - your ISP is blocking you from sending email

The recent increase of unsolicited email (SPAM) has forced many ISP's (Internet Service Provider) to take steps to prevent their mail servers from being used to send SPAM. This is accomplished by blocking all outbound traffic that does not have a FROM email address assigned by the ISP.

ISP's are forcing clients to use their SMTP servers for sending email and requiring the email to have a FROM address assigned by the ISP. As an example, to send from MSN your must use the MSN email address you were provided. You CAN NOT use another email address such as your own domain name.

This is an issue that MUST be directed to your ISP. They often have a solution that will allow you to send email with a from address that is not the domain of the ISP.

If your ISP is unable to provide a solution, we provide two possible solutions:

1. Use Web Mail. Web Mail does not suffer from the restrictions presented by your ISP. The URL to Web Mail is webmail.yourdomainname where yourdomain is your domain name (no WWW in the URL).

2. We have a special email server that bypasses most ISP email sending restrictions. To use this server your email program MUST support SMTP authentication (Outlook Express, Outlook, Netscape Messenger) and allow for a non-standard SMPT port. It is the responsibility of the user to use a supporting email program that will utilize SMTP authentication and non-standard SMTP port.

No Charge for Web Mail IF Web Mail was part of your hasting package. If Web Mail was not part of your hosting package, the below charges apply.

Current non commercial Web shared hosting clients:
1-10 mail accounts $5.00/mo
11-50 mail accounts $10.00/mo
51 or more mail accounts $20.00/mo
These charges will be added to your monthly hosting charges.

Current commercial Web shared hosting clients:
NO CHARGE.

NOTE: Commercial clients are clients on a commercial hosting plan,

Current Dedicated Server customer:
For your primary dedicated server domain:
NO CHARGE

For other domains you host on your server for your own clients:
1-5 mail accounts $5.00/mo
6-25 mail accounts $10.00/mo 
26 or more mail accounts $20.00/mo 
These charges are added to your monthly account.
