Email Servers used by MIS
To configure your email client, you are required
to provide a mail server for SMTP and POP3, The
below is the standard configuration used by MIS
Sciences.
SMTP Server smtp.yourdomain
POP3 Server mail.yourdomain
NOTE: yourdomain is the domain your receive
email for. It does not include WWW. As an
example, if you domain is mydomain.com and your
web is www.mydomain.com, then your servers would
be:
POP3: mail.mydomain.com
SMTP: smtp.mydomain.com
DO NOT use IP addresses or any other server for
your mail servers unless instructed by MIS
Support. Doing so could result in your inability
to receive email.Your mail user ID is your
complete email address i.e.
youremail@yourdomain.com
If you are using Netscape or Eudora, your login id
is as follows:
youremail%yourdomain.com
